School of Prayer Ministry - Carleton Place - May 4 - 6
We envision people experiencing healing – in spirit, soul, and body – through the completed work of Jesus Christ and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. We believe everyone deserves to experience the full freedom that comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Through prayer, we create space for the Holy Spirit to bring deep healing and full freedom to followers of Jesus. We welcome people into the ministry of VMTC Living Fully by training them through schools of prayer ministry and equipping them to help others find freedom and healing.
The God of the Bible: One God existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19)
The Authority of Scripture: The Bible is the inspired Word of God, authoritative in all matters of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
The Deity of Jesus Christ: Jesus is fully God and fully man and the only way to salvation. (John 1:1-4, Colossians 2:9)
The Power of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit empowers believers for ministry, including prayer and healing. He gives believers spiritual gifts to enable them to encourage one another and walk in victory. (Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12:7-11)
The Need for Salvation: All people are sinners who need God's forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23, John 14:6)
The Power of Prayer: Prayer offered in faith is a powerful tool for transformation, healing, and deliverance. (James 5:16)
The Ministry of Healing: Jesus demonstrated and commanded the healing of the sick, and this ministry continues through the Holy Spirit today. (Matthew 10:8, Mark 16:18)
The Importance of Confession and Forgiveness: Unforgiveness hinders healing and freedom. Confessing our sin honestly and humbly frees the Holy Spirit to bring healing and freedom in our lives. We are called to forgive others as God has forgiven us. (1 John 1:9, Matthew 6:14-15, Ephesians 4:31-32)
The Transformation of Believers: Christians are called to a life of ongoing growth and sanctification through the work of the Holy Spirit, making us more and more like Jesus. (Romans 12:1-2, Philippians 1:6)
The Hope of Eternal Life: We believe in the blessed hope of the return of Jesus Christ and a new heaven and a new earth. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 21:1-5)
The Value of Family and Marriage: We believe that God established the family as the basic unit of society (Ephesians 3:14-15). Marriage, a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, is the foundation of a healthy family. (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6)
