Gradual Growth: Build your foundation with basic ministry skills from the first school.
Progressive Learning: Attend multiple schools to refine your techniques and move toward being released as a prayer minister.
Ongoing Support: Maintain your skills through regular attendance at schools of prayer ministry.
Even if you're not aiming for ministry leadership, you're welcome to attend a school for personal development and fellowship.
We have developed different formats for our schools of prayer ministry. All schools include the same elements, but are organized in unique ways to meet specific needs. Elements found in all of our schools are: worship, ten teaching sessions, personal prayer ministry for each student, prayer vigil, communion and a blessing service.
Three-Day School: This school covers one evening and two full days, usually Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Meals and snacks are provided. Accommodations are not provided. This is an efficient way to learn about VMTC's approach to prayer.

Modular School: This is a school that we run for a few weeks. Usually, we have four sessions. They can be evening or Saturday morning sessions or a combination. They include a potluck meal. We finish the school with a full VMTC Day that provides time for the other elements of a prayer school. This is a very flexible way to run a prayer of school ministry. It can be run in a home or in a church. It provides a more informal setting that encourages questions and discussion. It allows for more time to process the learning.
